Harokopio University of Athens is a public University dedicated to promoting research and learning in a small, well-focused set of intellectual areas. The University is named after Panagis Harokopos the establisher of Harokopios Higher School which was operating from 1929 until 1990 when Harokopio University gained its current status.

Harokopio University has both undergraduate and postgraduate studies and along with the studies it provides other services -such as Library and Information Center, Careers Office, Student Counseling Center- as well. 

The main campus of the University that includes the departments School of Environment, Geography and Applied Economics and School of Health Science and Education along with the services mentioned above is located at El. Venizelou 70, Kallithea, Athens - Greece whereas the School of Digital Technology department's and the University's restaurant address is Omirou 9, Tavros, Athens - Greece.
